Here in Video Gaming, we strive to bring you the very best in the latest consoles, and games. Additionally we host tournaments throughout the weekend for you to test your skills against other Comic Con Honolulu gamers!

Room 316ABC – located on the 3rd floor of the Hawaii Convention Center

Room Rules

  • Please be mindful of the arcades, consoles, controllers, accessories, equipment. Treat them as if they are your own.
    • Treating the equipment in a harsh manner will result in a kick from the room.
  • There will be no food or drinks in the room. Please enjoy your meal or beverage outside before joining back into the room.
    • The only exception will be closed container drinks such as hydro flask etc. (Paper or plastic cups are not an exception)
  • The chairs at the any tables are reserved for those who wish to play games. While you may sit and relax on any of the chairs, you may be asked to move so that someone may enjoy the game at the respective table.
    • Exception: the chairs in front of the DDR machines are free for anyone.
  • Badges must on your person at all times. Please respect the crew if they ask for your badge.

Play Super Smash Bros Ultimate here! Free play will be on Friday and Sunday. On Saturday, there will be an Oahu High School Invitational. More info below!

  • Rules:
    • Double Elimination
    • Default settings
    • 3/5 Games per Set
    • Winner of prior game must keep same characters and assists, but may change order
    • Loser of prior game may switch characters, assists, and order
    • Bonne Wonderland is the only permitted stage

Street Fighter 6 Tournament

  • Rules:
    • Double Elimination
    • Default settings
    • All OPTION settings are default settings except for the following two settings.Pause Menu on Long Hold ON
    • 2/3 Rounds per Game2/3 Games per Set
    • 3/5 Winners. Losers and Grand Finals
    • Winner of previous game must keep same character
    • Loser of previous game may switch character
    • Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage*)
    • Training Room stage is banned from Tournament Play
    • Dynamic control type is banned
    • In-battle Accessibility Settings may be turned ON if the Tournament Organizer deems that the setting is physically necessary.*

Tekken 8 Tournament

  • Date: 9/7/2024 (Saturday)
  • Time: 5pm
  • Rules:
    • Double Elimination
    • Tournament Mode Default Settings
    • 3/5 Rounds per Game
    • 2/3 Games per Set
    • 3/5 Games for Winners, Losers & Grand Finals
    • Random stage select after each match
    • Winner of previous game must keep same character
    • There will be no customizing of colors, names, or items at any time before or during a tournament match. Any player that does so will be given a loss of round.

Free Play Area

Console Island

Console Island Rules

  • You must have a valid ID preferably a Driver’s license, a state ID, a school ID, or Passport.
    • Credit Cards (with your picture) and library cards do not qualify towards you borrowing our controllers.
  • To get your ID back, please return the console you borrowed along with all the controllers and accessories you have used
  • All consoles will be on our console island which we will provide. If you have your own console, you may hook that up to a tv also
  • Please take care of our consoles like it’s your own consoles. (You would not want anyone damaging your game consoles so treat them with care).
  • Please be mindful of others who would like to play the games
  • YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE/LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES PERTAINING TO THE CONSOLES, CONTROLLERS, WIRES, ETC. DURING THE RENTAL.

DDR

You are free to play DDR. If there is a queue, please be respectful to others and follow the queue. Please treat the machines with care as if it were your own.
