Need a place to relax for a bit, maybe listen to some music, and recharge? Then the Lo-Fi Lounge is what you’re looking for. Open seating and tables for you to sit down, chat with some friends, and chill out to some lo-fi background tunes playing all day long. Enjoy a moment of respite before continuing on to your next adventure at CCH!
The Listening Station
The Headphone Library in the Lo-Fi Lounge is dedicated to providing an enjoyable wired listening experience for our attendees in a relaxed environment. In our high-tech age where audio content is now consumed primarily based on convenience via wireless earbuds from our phones (or even just from its speaker), the Headphone Library offers an ‘old school’ alternative. With wired headphones, dedicated headphone amplifiers, and discrete Digital to Audio (DAC) converters, we would like to (re)introduce you to a more enjoyable music listening experience.
The library has a collection of entry level audio-enthusiast headphones that you can audition while in the Lo-Fi Lounge. We also have two listening stations, each with several headphone amplifiers for you to plug into and listen to unique daily playlists of curated songs and dj sets showcasing the headphone’s audio profiles and allow you to discover your own personal preferences.
Note: all items in the Headphone Library are on kind loan from a private collector. Please handle all equipment with care for use by other patrons as well as the continued support from our donor. No items are offered for sale.
