Christopher Caravalho is a local creator, writer, and co-artist of the ‘Aumākua Guardians of Hawaii comic book.

Chris always had an obsession with Comic Books, loved to write stories, and would often draw his classmates into superheroes. Little did he know at the time he would be laying the future foundation of an idea to create a team heroes from Hawaii.

Chris is a currently an employee for the City and County of Honolulu and has served his community for nearly 17 years as a police officer. Recently he decided to fulfill his lifelong dream to make his very own comic book and with the help of family, friends, and online supporters Issue one of ‘Aumākua Guardians of Hawaii was self published under his company Mana Comics.

The ‘Aumākua Guardians of Hawaii consists of locals that are of different ethnicities and cultures that are dedicated to protect the islands and the people who live here.

Chris is currently working on the second issue of his comic series called, ‘Aumākua Ghosts of the Past which is set to be released in September 2015 and a brand new series called MANA COMICS DOUBLE FEATURE #1 which will be released in the spring of 2016.
